Pet Adoptions of Cuero is a non-profit animal shelter in Cuero, Texas, built on the dedication of individuals that saw a need and knew they couldn't just sit idly by. Since 2012, these individuals have not only created a permanent shelter, but the volunteer staff oversee shelter operations to ensure all pets receive adequate food, water, medical care, and socialization. In 2012, we became a bona fide 501c3 non-profit, and Pet Adoptions as an organization has been growing ever since.



We are constantly taking dogs and cats that are picked up by animal control, getting them up to date on vaccinations, and caring for them until we can find them the perfect forever homes.

 

Adoption and Visitation hours are 8 am to 12 noon every day except Sunday. To accommodate potential adopters, after hours adoption visits in the afternoon or evening are available by appointment.  We encourage potential adopters to call and set up times that are convenient for both themselves and shelter staff, so that you will have plenty of time to really get to know our animals before picking out your new furry friend!
